Georgi Taskov

Georgi Taskov is the director of RFIC design at Ubilite Inc. He is engaged in the development of low-power WLAN transceiver design in nanometer technologies.

From 2002 to 2013 he worked as a senior principal design engineer at Skyworks Solutions, where he designed RF and mixed-signal blocks for transceiver projects and products, the number of chips sold exceeds 120 million. At Skyworks he designed the industry’s widest integrated RF synthesizer for 4G base stations, with more than 6GHz continuous locking range, and automatic frequency calibration to cover all GSM, WCDMA and LTE bands. Prior to that he was a member of the RFIC design groups at Rockwell Semiconductors and Conexant Systems.

Georgi has a MSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California – Irvine.
