Ubilite Selected as a Top Finalist in LEAP 2024 Rocket Fuel Competition
March 8, 2024, San Diego, U.S. – Ubilite is very pleased to share that it has been selected as one of the finalists at the prestigious LEAP 2024: Rocket Fuel Competition. A finalist translates to being in the Top 10 of over 2,000 entries. This remarkable achievement places Ubilite in the spotlight of the startup ecosystem for ultra low-power consumption wireless semiconductor devices.
LEAP is the premier meeting point for hundreds of thousands of tech professionals. The event welcomes attendees from over 183 countries and is the ideal platform to showcase tech start-ups companies to the world.
On the LEAP Rocket Fuel startup stage Ubilite pitched its revolutionary architecture for ultra low power Wi-Fi chips targeted for the IoT applications. These Wi-Fi chips with power consumption that rivals BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) removing the tradeoff between rich high data rate application experience and power consumption. The revolutionary chip architecture was designed from the ground up to achieve ultra low power consumption and a very compact design footprint with minimal external components resulting in a very low bill of materials cost. Dramatically extending battery life or the use of much smaller batteries or enabling the use of energy harvesting potentially saving millions of batteries from going to waste daily.
“We were ecstatic to be invited to present at LEAP 2024 Rocket Fuel Competition and now to become a top ten finalist is recognition of Ubilite's achievement and contribution to the ultra low power Wi-Fi ecosystem which is so very critical to the continued success and growth of the IoT market. Ubilite continues to innovate and will be extending its roadmap of ultra low power connectivity devices in early 2024.” said Peter Gammel, CEO
